Ahh, Paris. Can you even say the name of the world’s greatest city without feeling overwhelming emotion? I cannot. Paris is my favorite place in the world. From the museums, to the cafes, to simply the feeling of the air, Paris is felt in many different ways through each neighborhood, tiny street and boulevard.
When deciding where to stay in Paris, there are two big options to consider… do you rent an apartment or stay at a hotel? Each has its perks. An apartment allows you to become part of the city and really live in the neighborhood of your choice. A hotel, on the other hand, allows you to be pampered while enjoying the city. Whichever you choose, you’ll want somewhere you can check-in immediately after landing. You’ll need to reset after such a long flight.
My top choices:
AirBnB for apartments. The spaces can be so interesting, reasonable and range from sharing a room with a soon-to-be friend to a private riverboat just off Champs Elysee!
My main focus when choosing a hotel is the view. With so many perfect things to look at, you’ll want to look at something great from your room. If it’s the Eiffel Tower you’re after, I’m a fan of the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel. The view is to die for and the prices are reasonable for what you get! If this hotel isn’t quite your favorite, Booking.com is my favorite way to find the right place. Cross check with TripAdvisor and other travel sites to find the hotel that best suits your needs. Take your time with this decision since it can make or break your trip!
Have a pleasant stay in the City of Light! Stay tuned for more features on my favorite city including where I like to visit, shop, and most importantly, eat.
